Work package 5: Monitoring the costs and benefits of RE expansion

In Work package 5, the analyses on costs and benefits made so far are periodically updated, the methodological approaches partially revised and the classification of the documented effects expanded. This monitoring also serves as a basis for detailed investigations of the distributional effects and for further developments of the methodology. The categories considered include system-related costs and benefits as well as distributional effects and macroeconomic effects. The costs and benefits of preceding years are updated at the beginning of the second half of the year.
